Hm, sounds like advice I should pay attention to for my diet, heh. There are lots of things in life where you really do need to have the experience (and to have made mistakes) to really have the reasons for doing something hit home. Most of the people I know who do well financially either had something happen when they were younger that made them chance their mindset, or they were able to learn from the failings of parents or others around them. I don't know anyone who's done everything perfect right from the start. ;)

Great information! Can’t tell you how many times I been in the dirt when one of the cutting horses turns out from under me. You just don’t know when it can happen.

I love the analogy, and the reminder that no one is perfect. Sometimes it is so easy to beat yourself up when you spend on a want or make an impulse purchase (especially when you're trying to unclutter your house and those impulse purchases are so obvious.)
