I always wait because we owe too and I am just a procrastinator. Last year we wired a CPA so I didn't delay since they were doing it. Hiring the CPA was awesome by the way, here are the my reasons for getting a cpa if you care. It might help your procrastination, it did for me because it gave me a huge piece of mind. With that said we filed for extension, which is simple. Just send in the extension form and the estimation of the money you owe and then finish up later. I’m glad you were able to get it mailed in on the 15th. Next year, take an example from me. Mine was e-filed on the 14th. At least 35 hours to spare!
